Fordtography Weddings is the literal love child of Kaye Ford. Fordtography is Ford and Photography combined. Get it? It’s punny eh?

So hello! This is me Kaye Ford. This is what I look like so you have an idea before we meet. I’m a fake red headed, tattooed, stuck in her emo phase and in her 30s kinda gal.
I’m an AWARD WINNING Photographer! 🥹📸 I won ‘Best Photographer’ in 2022 at The Blogosphere Awards and it still hasn’t really sunk in, despite the fact I sleep with the trophy on my bedside table.

I’m based in High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire, used to live in Watford in Hertfordshire, and I drive so will happily travel all over the UK, AND I love to travel the world so will definitely say yes to your destination wedding.

I shoot beauty editorials based around real skin and events for brands as the main side to my photography business and because of this I have a very unique view when it comes to weddings. I inject a bit of my editorial side into your images as well as the candid fly-on-the-wall style I picked up from documenting London Fashion Week backstage. I’ve been told by past couples that I am fun and bubbly and people often mistake me for part of your close group of friends. Don’t be surprised if you see me bust a move on the dance floor and get hyped up by your pals (like, this has legit happened as I popped off a 2 step when Sum41 played and a group started doing the same around me like some kind of dance circle, me with my camera in hand still). Major kudos if you have pizza and/or doughnuts at your reception and I promise I won’t steal them all.

Weddings I love to photograph

There’s some I have and haven’t achieved just yet.

• A Las Vegas elopement - ACHIEVED and it was the best few days of my life so please book me for yours.

• Elopements - I am open to ANY country. I currently have done the US, Italy, France and Scotland.

• Beach weddings. My dream is to shoot a couple session on the beach. Being by the ocean heals my spirit.

• Festival style weddings - I adore these, all the fun of a festival but with better hygiene.

• Halloween weddings. I have a leg sleeve tattoo all themed around Halloween and spooky things.

Basically I’m your uk based, non traditional and alternative photographer! (oh and did I mention I’m cool and I have tattoos?).

Favourite parts of the day I love to capture

• Confetti being thrown. The more colourful the better, and the more you have of it the better also! I love an absolute flurry of confetti!

• The couple portraits. I love to take you away for a small 20 minute breather after the ceremony so you can truly revel in being newlyweds and some silence whilst I capture your intimate moments together.

• If you have a dog involved that is a highlight of the day for me.

• If we are blessed with a sunset then I love a little golden hour, sun flare moment with the two of you.
